Welcome to the Lincoln National Forest! We want to take you to the best locations for beautiful meadows, tree covered mountain views, canyons, streams and yes, wildlife! Our guides can take you on a hike based on the level of challenge you desire. Here is a small sample of our current hiking tours.

Cedar Creek Close to town, but away from the hustle-bustle parts of Ruidoso. This trail begins near a stream and then turns into a narrow canyon. Easy to follow, you'll see a forest of white fir and southwestern pine trees. Also called the spaghetti bowl, there are many other trails to enjoy. 1.7 miles or longer if you wish, intermediate to advanced level.

Bonito Lake There are three good options for hiking at Bonito Lake. You'll pass by small meadows followed by aspen groves. Some landmarks include White Horse Hill and Elk Point. Also look for wildflowers in season! Mileage varies depending on trail, intermediate level.

Lookout Mountain The highest point in Lincoln National Forest! From the top you'll enjoy a 360 degree view that includes Sierra Blanca peak. You'll also glimpse a view of White Sands and beyond! Short mileage but high degree of difficulty due to high elevation.

We have many other hiking options and change itineraries with seasons and weather conditions. Call us to book a hiking tour today!
